Yi Lu Fa Curry Fish Head & Steamboat

The curry fish head was rich, flavourful and packed with spices, just the right balance of tangy and creamy. It’s the thick and aromatic kind! Super good to pair it with rice. The fish was fresh and tender, and the portion was generous enough for sharing for 2 pax. It’s a hearty, value-for-money dish if you are thinking to have some comfort curry fish head. Overall very satisfying!

Read from reviews that people usually go for its curry fish head, therefore I tried it. Ordered 3 items: curry fish head, green dragon chives and salted egg chicken wing. I could say the fish head is so so, not spicy, maybe consider as 小辣 (low level of spiciness). I think those who can't really take spicy food can go for this. The coconut milk has over powered the curry flavour. The salted egg chicken wing is nice, the level of salted egg is just nice, you will not get sick of it easily. The vegetables is nice.

Good bowl of Claypot Fish Head Curry in a affordable price range. Ingredients is given generously and fresh, while the curry is fragrant and thick. It also goes well with a rice.

This curry fish head served in a claypot was great! The curry was thick, not spicy, and the flavour was just right. Ordered 3 bowls of rice to go with the curry. Fish was firm and fresh, we got the $20 red snapper as that was the only option left when we went at night.
