Alright. I did not know that soybean pudding could taste THIS GOOD. I’ve always had reservations about soybean pudding in general… aka I wasn’t a huge fan of soybean. But the TEXTURE of this soybean pudding was almost *magical* for the mouth feels. It had just the right amount of sweetness and the pudding was silky but not soft or mushy. My husband and I devoured this within seconds and were saddened by the fact that we were just too full to get another. If you’re at the Old Airport Road hawker center, you must give this a try! Even if you’re not a fan of soybean pudding (like me). It might change your mind.

After eating my char siew and roast pork on rice, I was looking for a dessert. I decided to go for this beancurd because I have never tasted it. The stall operator was not very friendly and rejected my CDC voucher. I ordered the original beancurd. It comes ready to go. The texture of the beancurd is soft, and there's a creaminess in the taste. It definitely tasted better than Whampoa beancurd. It reminds me of Panna Cotta.

I tried both the beancurd and the soy milk recently. It tastes better than usual beancurd/soy milk at first. But after a few bites/sips, you realize that the uncle put non-dairy creamer in it, which makes the aftertaste extremely artificial. Plus it is made of palm oil, which is a big no to me. It would be great if the uncle sold no creamer and less sugar version of the beancurd.

Old Airport Road store bad service. When I asked the lady do they accept grab pay, she used a finger to point at an QR code. The QR code did not indicate a grab pay logo. I asked her again to confirm whether this QR code is for grab pay as there is no grab pay logo or wordings on the QR code. She ignore me and look away. Super rude. Suspect she might be undergoing menopausal transition.

We used to frequent the stall at Tampines Interchange and love their bean curd but the service is extremely bad. It's ok if she doesn't speak much English but her body language and tone of voice just infuriates us. Will give this place a miss next time.
