Albert Street Prawn Noodle

A HAWKER CLASSIC WORTH TRYING I visited Albert Street Prawn Noodle at Old Airport Hawker and tried their prawn noodle soup. The broth was the real highlight—flavourful, rich, and comforting without being too heavy. The prawns were fresh and nicely cooked, adding natural sweetness. Noodles were springy and soaked up the broth well. Portion size was fair, and the pricing felt very decent. On top of that, the service was friendly and organised, making the experience smooth. Overall, a satisfying bowl I’d happily recommend.

Purposely come here to get the best food of Old Airport road. Prawn mee here was one of the best. But this prawn mee is not even mediocre. The quality is lousy. The noodle is tasteless. Soup is so-so. Waste my stomach only.

One of my go to prawn noodles stall whenever i’m at old airport hawker. Ordered the large bowl of pork ribs prawn noodles ($12). Comes with a side of seasoning. Broth is decently flavorful but not overpowering. The prawns are v fresh and plump. Pork ribs also has a nice chewy texture not overly tender which i like. Can’t beat zhup zhup standard but for the price it’s got great value!

🦐Prawn noodle cravings struck today. Be prepared for the lengthy but rapidly moving queue. Looking at most tables having heaps of prawns deshelled, i know the wait would be worth it. 🙌😆 The stall's popularity is well-deserved, with a rich, savory prawn broth that's perfectly balanced with subtle sweetness. 🤩 The prawns are a highlight - generously sized, succulent, and bursting with freshness. I like having them deshelled and expertly mixed with the noodles 🍜. Had kuay teow mee that was topped with fragrant fried shallots, adding a delightful crunch and chilli that coats all well. 😋😋😋 🦐🦐🦐

Love love love this prawn noodles. It has everything. Umami, the thin laksa noodles which is hard to find in other prawn noodles stall, the meat is tender, pork Lard, vinegar, chilli paste. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I feel the prawns could be fresher and bigger. Other than that, my go to!
