About

A prawn noodle institution at Old Airport Road known for hearty bowls of hae mee in both soup and dry styles. The broth is simmered from prawn heads and pork bones, and bowls are typically served with chunky prawns, pork ribs and pork liver. The dry version is particularly popular for its savoury, chilli-coated noodles.

Am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The lady helped a recovering Stroke patient throughout. Was a bit worried about the prawn soup but it turned out good. I completely finished everything, almost licked it clean. Was hoping the prawns were fresher but for the price, they were delicious! Will definitely be back.

Most important is prawn soup , but their prawn soup not good. prawn and pork rib taste ok. I saw google review is 3.5, but queze is long. when people saw queze is long, they also queze. so don’t need to waste time to queze.

The authentic prawn broth is the star—it’s incredibly rich, deep, and satisfying, tasting of hours of careful simmering. I highly recommend the dry version; the noodles are coated in a delicious, addictive chilli paste that has the perfect amount of kick. The quality of the ingredients is also top-notch: the prawns are fresh and plump, and the pork ribs are tender. Be prepared for a queue, but the fantastic flavor and authentic taste make this meal well worth the wait!

First time trying this stall and the order was systematic. Lady has a piece of paper with columns to mark your order. For $8.50 my dry mee kia with prawns and pig tail was value for money. Three pawns and similar number of pig tail were placed in the soup that had full prawn flavour but not overly salty. Very good. Noodles were well mixed with chilli sauce and upon request pork lard bits were added too. Saw that the stall also serves prawn mee with pork ribs and liver. Will return to try the other options.

A super delicious and comforting bowl of prawn mee! I love that the dry version's chilli is savoury (more than sweet) and gives just enough kick that goes well with the prawn and pork ribs. Love the soup too. Will def go back there for my prawn mee fix!
