About

Toa Payoh Rojak offers a classic Singapore rojak — a mixed salad of fruits, vegetables and fritters tossed in thick sweet-spicy prawn paste sauce with crushed peanuts. The vibrant mix of textures from crunchy, fresh and juicy ingredients, combined with the robust rojak dressing, makes it a go-to choice for sharing or as a refreshing side at the hawker centre.

Colleague recommended me to this stall and decided to try their rojak. The uncle is very friendly and didn't wait very long to get my order. Generous amount of peanut and sauce. The fruits, cucumber and fried stuff are fresh and crunchy. There's also vegetables in it, which is not commonly seen for the other rojaks that I have tried. Price is also reasonable.

Toa Payoh Rojak is popular. The system for ordering is quite different. You pick the queue card number abs wait for your number to be display. You tell the stall holder your order for small, medium or large serving. The are additional addon like cuttlefish, century eggs or extra rojak sauce. He, then, preloaded and mix, stir up your order and hands it to you before collecting payment. I ordered the small portion with cuttle fish addon. Wow! Was it delicious and spicy. Would love to have it as often as possible.

The rojak sauce was tasty. The prawn paste taste was strong with gula melaka mixed in. What brought down this rojak is the portion. Ordered the $5 medium portion and it's pretty small for medium. Not much cucumber and pineapple. Would be better had the portion is bigger. Also this stall will have long queue and they will sell out too.

Standard has dropped tremendously. I wonder was it my last order plate? You could hardly see pineapples tau po etc. I noticed the gravy balance on my plate was from customer order in front of me. The you teow also never grill was so hard. So disappointed after travel from west to eat.
