Came for this authentic Hakka YTF which is authentically good and also for the actual Hakka noodles. According to my friend who rave about the Hakka noodles here, this noodle is similar to the one he had in Ktoa Kinabalu. It’s what he claimed to be the Sabah noodles. The texture is smooth and qq to bite. Best way to eat it is to have it in the dry version. The YTF is filled with good quality minced pork with dry fish bits. Only thing is almost every item is fried and there’s no selection allowed. My signature meal consists of a bowl or 5 pieces of YTF and dry Hakka mee for just $5.50. A belly great lunch. I’d like to come back for other sets.

Such a pleasant surprise! Ordered the dry ytf with Hakka noodles. Al dente springy noodles, nice chilli sauce and homemade ytf stuffed with chunky minced meat and dried shrimp. Overall a satisfying, delicious meal!

Not the typical yong tao fu where you pick your own items. This came in a set of assorted items. All items are delicious (including the bittergourd) and are on the "heavier" taste side. Most items are deep fried and unhealthy but so delicious. Also recommend the curry chicken which is thick and full of flavor as well (also felt unhealthy). Please eat in moderation.

While waiting for our Lor Mee, wifey walked around the Old Airport Food Center and found the stall that we had wanted to try out - Authentic Hakka Yong Tau Fu. The curry gravy was sufficiently lemak, we didn’t think the stall used fresh coconut milk; but it didn’t have the “packet coconut milk” taste. So it’s good. For the $4.50 serving, besides the laksa thick beehoon, there was one piece each of Tau Fu, Tau Pok, Brinjal and Bitter Gourd Yong Tau Fu. Very reasonable. And the stuffing was unusual, it’s not the usual fish meat but minced pork with a little salted fish. Tasted good! If I had not ordered the Sliced Fish Lala Lor Mee, this Laksa Yong Tau Fu is a good alternative. Next time we shall not share one small bowl. Hahaha.😋
