Hin Fried Hor Fun With Prawn. Beef. Sliced Fish Hin Fried Hor Fun with Prawn, Beef, and Sliced Fish is a flavorful and satisfying noodle dish that combines the smoky aroma of wok hei (the “breath of the wok”) with a rich medley of proteins. The flat rice noodles are stir-fried until slightly charred, giving them a subtle crispiness and depth of flavor. Succulent prawns, tender beef slices, and delicate pieces of sliced fish are cooked to perfection, absorbing the savory soy-based sauce. Crisp vegetables add color and texture, while the silky egg gravy coats everything beautifully. This dish is a comforting harmony of taste, texture, and aroma—perfect for any meal.

This stall offers delightfully flavorful flat white noodles, stir-fried to perfection with a charred finish. The deep aroma of wok hei enhances each bite without being overpowering. Definitely worth a try! Plus serve by friendly couple 😊😊

April 2025: I decided to order the beef hor fun because of the positive reviews. I paid $6. Some customers here noted that the rice noodles were ordinary. I disagree. They were pre-cooked with a nice caramelised coating. It didn't taste burnt. In fact, the taste was much better than 2 stalls that I have previously reviewed in Katong and Bedok. The beef was tenderised with baking soda and corn flour. It tasted soft when bitten. The gravy was pre-cooked and added subsequently for the portion that was prepared for me. The pickled green chilli elevated the taste. This is definitely old-school hor fun, which I remember of my childhood. The lady boss is polite and spoke English. I am definitely coming back to try the seafood variety.

Hin Hor Fun — what an absolute joy on a plate! Every bite bursts with that irresistible wok hei, the smoky aroma that wraps around the silky hor fun like a warm nostalgic hug. The beef slices? Melt-in-your-mouth tender, beautifully marinated with that deep, savoury flavor only a seasoned wok master can create. And the prawns so plump, so fresh, they practically bounce with every bite. Then comes the crowning glory: a glossy, velvety egg gravy that coats everything in a luxurious sheen. It’s the kind of old-school flavor that takes me straight back to my childhood ,comforting, bold, and oh-so-satisfying. Honestly, this is the perfect beef hor fun in the hawker scene. That lingering smokiness, that rich aftertaste it stays with me, making me smile long after the last bite. Pure happiness on a plate!
