I have been to this stall for several years and till now, I am still impressed with the nice traditional kuehs hand-made old-school style. This is the best stall for soon kueh, yam kueh, chives kueh and other tasty bites. And it is not pricey. All the kuehs packed of ingredients. And the skin is just nice, not too thick. (Other places selling kuehs have thick skin and less ingredients in it.) The taste of the kuehs is great. They are freshly made continuously at the stall itself so the kuehs are fresh. They are not oily or greasy. The chilli is light and complements the kueh nicely. The taste of the kueh is light and savoury with the right balance of spices and seasoning. One is able to eat more and do not fill uncomfortable due to indigestion. (This is unlike some stalls selling kuehs that are overdone with spices, seasoning and oil that eating one kueh is enough to make the stomach uncomfortable and make you regret eating it.) I understand the stall is closed on Mondays.

Rare mugwort mung bean to be found here - all best & all shiok! Thanks to Seetoh’s post as this stall was a far flung corner in Old Airport Hawker

Fu Xin Cooked Food, Old Airport: Homage to the fast-disappearing Old Skoolers. Before the AI swallowing up traditional jobs were the machines that mass produced all our food. Fu Xin still loving hand makes its Teo Chew kuehs. Imperfectly formed has become charmingly delightful. Be sure to load up on the tubs of yam cake. They’re so rich and tasty. #eatstylishtravelstylish

One for $1.50. Skin is very tender and QQ. Mugbean filling is not too sweet. But the skin is too oily for me.

I bought 4 soon kueh and 2 ku chai kueh as takeaway. Each costs $1. They were delicious, especially the Soon Kueh. However, I feel thirsty after eating the soon kueh. Maybe there's MSG.
