This place is well-known for its steamed fish, so I brought my family along for dinner. I called earlier in the afternoon to reserve one, but many had already booked theirs. Luckily, I managed to secure a red grouper tail. 1) Steamed Fish – 3.7/5 They offer a few cooking styles like Hong Kong steam and Teochew. We went with Teochew style. At first, I was worried the fish might not be enough for four people, but the portion turned out fine. The taste was decent, though the meat was a little tough and not as fresh as expected. On the bright side, the price was more affordable compared to many other places. 2) Butter Prawns – 3.5/5 Big prawns, but on the salty side. The texture was slightly firm, similar to the fish. 3) Sambal Stir-Fried Vegetables – 3/5 Nicely cooked, but extremely spicy. A bit too much for our taste. Conclusion – 3.7/5 Great value for money, but the long waiting time and the freshness not living up to expectations were a letdown. Still, service was friendly—the boss was patient in answering my questions. We’ll likely give this place another try on a better day.

The fish, Sotong and prawns are yummy. Service is good however, need to wait for about 45 minutes for food as I went down on weekend. Overall I rate 5 stars and the only downside is no aircon, lol Recommended to all seafood lovers 😉

Ordered Red Grouper Fish Head Steam at 540pm on a Saturday dinner, only got our food at 710pm. Better than average steam, however the wait is too long. They told us the wait is 1 hour when we ordered but turned out longer. Seems that they do stir fry first and then change the cooker for steam hence the wait? Cos the stir fry seems to be faster like 10mins

teochew style steam fish and buttered crayfish are phenomenal. ingredients here are plump and fresh, seasoning is sufficient, just enough to taste, while retaining the original sweetness of the seafood. thou reviews counts are not high, food here is definitely speaks for itself. do come here to try for yourself!

Ordered Hong kong style steam fish and sambal sotong. Love the fish. Super fresh. Time: 8+pm, not crowded hence not much waiting time for seats and food. Definitely coming back to try to prawns
