Review of Chuan Loo Bee Hokkien Food (#01-111) This was the only stall open after 10pm, so I decided to give it a try and ordered the Imperial Pork Ribs Rice. Since it was cooked to order and there were no other customers at the time, I had some expectations for a decent meal. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. The pork ribs were extremely tough and hard, to the point where I had to bite very hard just to chew them apart. The sauce also tasted quite strange and unpleasant, which made the dish even harder to enjoy. Honestly, this was one of the worst meals I’ve had, and I couldn’t finish it. 😢 I understand that late-night options are limited, but the quality was far below expectations.

I was craving for a crab meal. Since I was around the area, decided to give this stall a go. Pick a 800g ish crab and ask them to do it chilli style. Turned out to be pretty good, good balance of spicyness and sweetness with a nice touch of hua tiao wine. The gravy taste really good, with onion and egg mix. They even throw in a plate of fried bun to go with the gravy. Very satisfying meal indeed.

I came for late lunch and decided to try this place as everything else was already closed. I got the minced chicken Thai basil rice, which was really bad! Soggy rice and the dish completely lacked any flavor. Only thing up to standards was the fried egg -- sad. Not coming back. 🫠

‘Horrible’ food ~ I ordered Salted Chicken is cold 1,some more the taste ‘Hard like eating stone’. And I remember I ordered is Zhi Char stall, how come they serve ‘chicken oil rice’ 😅😅😅😅 Not recommend at all~ don’t waste money

31st Jul 2020 1330 hours i Went to eat chili crab with my father which i not frequent to chuan loo bee, but has patronize annually.We selected a 1.1 kg crab , but Eating halfway we were surprise one of the claw is rotten. I complain to the chef And he said he not sure why it happened. Then i asked then can it be eaten? He paused And offered a refund , eventually six dollars off from original 50 dollArs. How can a crawl be fresh and the other rotten? I suspect he switches the crab i selected with other crabs. Please highlight to me if it is possible that a living crab can have a rotten craw. If i just eat this craw without looking i confirm will be hospitalised
