Got the charsiew and roasted pork belly, and its damm good. Charsiew was juicy and you can taste the sweet caramalization on the skin, and the roast pork was soft and fragrant as well, with a balance of fats, crispy skin and the savory meat. Both are good on its own, or with rice which makes it a good sharing option with friends and family when visiting Old Airport Road Hawker where you'll want to get a bit of everything to share in an authentic Singaporean style of enjoying dinner here. Thank you uncle for the good food, 加油!

This roast meat stall stands out as one of the finest examples of Cantonese roasted cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of tasting — not only in Singapore, but anywhere. It is a distinct breakthrough and stand out as compared to similar HK Roasted foods found in typical food courts, where the flavours often lean towards the average standards. To be candid, I’m a Singaporean with half-Cantonese family, due to this I’ve grown up with a keen palate for authentic Cantonese flavours. What this humble stall offers is nothing short of remarkable — a true reflection of traditional Hong Kong-style roast meats, carefully crafted and distinctively flavoured. For locals of Cantonese descent and visiting Hong Kong tourists alike, the taste here evokes a sense of familiarity that is both nostalgic and rare to encounter in Singapore. The char siu (barbecued pork) is particularly outstanding: succulent, tender, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, with just the right amount of marbling to lend richness without being overpowering. Even before tasting, the aroma — especially from the char siu and roasted duck — was already incredibly inviting. From the very first bite, the flavours came through clearly: gently sweet, deeply savoury, and masterfully roasted. The rice and cucumber sides were well-executed. The rice had a good texture and was far from bland, requiring only minimal soy sauce to enhance the dish. The cucumber, meticulously peeled and sliced fresh daily by the stall owner, added a refreshing contrast in texture. The roast pork belly leaned slightly towards the salty side, but was well-balanced in fat and lean meat, delivering a satisfying crunch. As for the roast duck, it was arguably the highlight — meaty, flavourful, and not overly fatty or salty. It was clear that great care had gone into the preparation. Service was another commendable aspect. Despite being a one-man operation, the owner managed orders with impressive speed and precision, even during peak hours. The queue may appear long, but you’ll find yourself served far quicker than expected — a testament to his professionalism and efficiency. Coming from a family half rooted in Hong Kong, I can confidently guarantee that this stall has indeed captured the true essence of authentic Hong Kong roast flavours. In Singapore where such Cantonese authenticity is increasingly rare, this place is a hidden gem. The stall owner himself is not only a highly skilled and experienced Cantonese chef, but also a warm, courteous, and approachable gentleman, often a friendly uncle to converse in Cantonese with customers. Ive been a frequent patron of this stall ever since a friend from Hong Kong introduced me to this stall with absolutely no regrets at all. For anyone seeking a genuine taste of Hong Kong cuisine in Singapore, this is an absolute must-visit. The prices are extremely affordable given the high quality food and service, making the entire experience exceptionally worthwhile. If I could give it a six-star rating, I truly would. Bravo to the chef — and keep up the fantastic work! 💪 YOU ARE AMAZING UNCLE!!!

Got the Char Siew Roasted Duck Rice and Char Siew Roasted Meat Rice. Char siew was a little on the hard side but taste wise it had the caramelized sweetness on the outside. Roasted duck had a slightly mushy texture. Roasted Meat was not bad, at least the skin was crispy. Rice was a little on the dry side. I felt it needed more sauce on the rice. Chili could have been better. I bit into a tiny hard piece which could have been a meat bone. Overall the food can be improved.

One of the few stalls in old airport food centre that serves roasted meat. I was here on Monday afternoon and there were many stalls closed and decided to give this place a try. They served roast meat, duck and charsiew. I had the charsiew and roast duck combination which was SGD$5. Uncle was very friendly. First impression, portion was considered generous. Charsiew was a little too salty, not sure it was the sauce. Roast duck was flavourful but a little dry.

I have frequently bought the roast duck rice from this store during circuit breaker. I would say that the duck is good and the skin is fatty and salty enough. The char siew is well marinated and the flavour permeates through the meat, but for some reason it is still lacking (for me personally, perhaps it’s not caramelised enough). I do see people buying whole duck or 1kg of char siew from him, so i’m sure some would like it. The roast pork, on the other hand, looks good but it is not that crispy and you can skip it. The chilli is good and have a nice kick when you mixed it with the rice. Ask for gravy or soya sauce to be drizzled on your rice. The owner is very friendly too!
