Friday, 6pm. Wanted to eat my fav fish head beehoon at Jin Hua but stall was closed. So went to 136 to satisfy my craving. NO Q despite dinner time. Prices stated $7,$8, $9. They “ran out” of fried fish head. Ordered “double” fish with addt veg. Was told $8 as they hv to use 2 types : fish slices n fried fish + $1 for addtl veg. For $9, the bowl was miserable - what with broken slivers of batang and a few fried fish. The few 1cm thin shreds of cabbage was not worthy of the extra $1. Soup wise - tasted more milk than fish broth despite requesting for less milk. Should hv observe the tested tell tale sign - “no Q no Go” My first n last time at this stall.

We came here on a busy Sunday for lunch, tried their fried fish soup (5$), which was quite decent overall. However the cabbage tasted a bit sour, not sure if it was spoilt... The lady at the stall was super friendly and welcoming, so five stars for service! ✨

Ordered the Sliced Fish Soup. Felt that the fish were overcooked and not fresh. Had a fishy-ness to it. Soup was ok. Overall the food wasn't as good as I would like it to be but the lady was super friendly.

Ordered the fried fish soup. The fish was ok. The soup was nice (acquired taste). Chili was good too

Bland broth so you’re compelled to add soya sauce to give it flavour. Disappointing. Better to seek an alternative from their competitors nearby.
