Wonderful laksa! I don’t know why people are being so hard on this place. Ordering was easy and they gave me an electronic buzzer to let me know when it was ready. They were busy but it still didn’t take long. Laksa was delicious with strong flavours. If I go back to Maxwell I would order here again.

I LOVE hawker center food and the rich and beautiful Singaporean culture, BUT... I’ve been eating at hawker centers for more than 20 years, and I’ve never experienced such slow and frustrating service as I did at this stall in Maxwell Food Market. I waited over 40 minutes for my food – an outrageous amount of time in a hawker center setting. What made it worse was that all my friends, who had ordered from other stalls, were left waiting with their food getting cold because of my delayed order. By the time my dish finally arrived, the taste was mediocre at best – certainly nothing worth such a wait. Hawker centers are known for efficiency, speed, and quality at a fair price. This stall failed badly on two of those three. I left disappointed, and I won’t be returning.

Honestly food isn't terrible but isn't good too, everything feels too instant, zero effort, defo targetting to Rip off tourist, extra 1$ for card payment, 1.5$ for extra fried egg. Just skip this place, a lot better Chinese place. I mean this place sells NUGGET. And the Taiwan sausage apparently not a Taiwan brand.

best lahksa of my life for only $5 sgd. insane. also very friendly staff. I got the normal one but i bet any combo would be good - it’s all about the broth.

It was alright. About the same as Tian Tian, but with good service.
