I looove Alimama Green Chilli Chicken Rice… Ever since I saw Blondie in China’s TikTok, it had been saved on my Google list. The first time, we tried both the Green Chilli Chicken Rice and the Red Chilli one. We do enjoy tangy and spicy foods more so the Green Chilli one won hands down - not that the Red Chilli one was bad (it was really good too). The sayur lodeh is great! If you can enjoy spicy food, definitely get this!!!

Their green chili chicken is quite legit. Tavern tasty and well fried. Chili goes well with the chicken and the curry veg helps make everything moist. Already been back to buy a few times since discovering them. Not a big fan of their curry chicken tho. Its more coconuty and not spicy.

There's no shortage of flavor at this stall. I appreciate that they really did not hold back when it comes to maximizing the number of spices and chilies for their dishes. While I had to wait about five minutes for my dish, I was more than happy to come back and enjoy the very hearty dish.

I had the Green Chilli Fried Chicken (No.8 on the menu) for lunch on 5 September 2025. Delicious and large portions. The fried chicken is well marinated with crispy skin and succulent flesh, whilst the vegetable curry complementary the red and green chilli's perfectly. Skip the red chilli's if you can't take very spicy food. A must try if you around the Maxwell area.

If you can get past the surly service from the lady running the stall, you’ll be rewarded with a large chicken leg fried golden crispy and doused with a tangy green chilli sauce. The rice that accompanies this dish is smothered with a vegetable curry gravy. And if the green chilli sauce isn’t spicy enough, there’s a serving of red chilli sambal too. All this served on a banana leaf.
