Oriental Stall

Avoid this stall. This stall is purely overcharging unknowing customers. The tiny circled portion of 4 pieces of duck was charged an extra $5 on top of the $7 mixed pork and tofu — only realised when I got home with the takeaway order. That’s $12 for a very small serving.

I tried their bak ku teh with white rice ($5+$1) The soup is the herbal type and is quite bland.. portion is also very small. The meat is not tough but not meaty enough for me. You can find better bak ku teh (of the same type) in hong lim food centre nearby that is more worthy.

Small portion without signature chili until requested. Ordered the duck rice to give them a chance. Noting they have a award recognition. The rice is broken rice of poorer quality. Duck rice portion is small for $5. I believe it use to be $3.50. Flavor and Taste is average. 6 slices of duck meat. Sambal belachan Chili is not given until upon requested and chili portion is horribly little. Plus the duck soup is not given. Comparison with You Kee Duck Rice. You Kee gave more portion in terms of rice meat and peanuts plus soup. My last time to patronise them. Photo for reference.

Tried the kway chap. There are 2 price $5 & $7. The lady there said $5 one is small portion but didn't expect it to be kids size. I tried better ones at Hong Lim or other hawker. Pathetic taste, pathetic portion.

Very yummy duck rice for $3.50 Add dachang $2 and egg 80cent Friendly auntie n uncle. Their chilli is really good too!
