Nice juicy, tender and well marinated meat. The peanut sauce was rich and flavourful. 😋 The only drawback is it took forever to cook. I ordered 12 sticks and waited 30 min for my order to be ready. 🥲

The barbecue with satay is great and most importantly, the price is fair. SGD 11 for 12 sticks mix (beef + pork + chicken). Much cheaper than the one in Lau Pa Sat.

Guy fronting the store was really rude, almost like I was inconveniencing him and his store by placing an order. Thereafter, it took 30 mins for just 10 pieces of satay to be done and they were very inconsistent. I really do not recommend.

Six stars for Maxwell Satay! Hands down the best satay in Singapore. Forget the overpriced tourist traps downtown—head straight to Maxwell Food Centre for skewers of meat so juicy and tender they practically melt in your mouth, grilled to perfection over open flames. The peanut sauce? Pure heaven—rich, nutty, and addictive. Best of all, this stall is run by young, hardworking entrepreneurs. Every time I’m in Singapore, I happily ride 45 minutes on the MRT just to get my fix. Trust me: one bite and you’ll understand why. You won’t be disappointed.

It was getting late in the evening and this was the only hainanese chicken rice place open so we tried this one. The chicken was very flavorful and the dipping sauce was very nice especially the ginger one. The gizzard was the highlight and highly recommend trying this. The rice was full of flavors and the meal was super cheap (all together about 10 Singapore dollars).
