Maxwell Coconut & Sugarcane Juice

Saw the locals lining up for this stall so I had to try the juice here. Got the sugarcane juice and the lime juice. Lime juice is so good and refreshing to combat the blazing humid heat. Sugarcane juice is fresh if you like it in general. Can’t beat the $2.50 for lime juice and $2 for sugarcane juice. Actually came here a few times after we discovered it!

Fresh juices and good prices. Some juices better than others. Sugar cane tasted very grassy but would still recommend. Overall pretty sweet drinks but the ladies work hard and quickly so we visited a few times to beat the heat. Would recommend. Cash and card accepted (charge of 50 cents added when using card).

Really rude owners and staff. We were standing a couple of metres away from their stall discussing where to go (less than 5 secs) and they barked at us asking if we wanted to order drinks from them. When we said that we were just thinking about where to sit, they asked us to move off if we don’t want to order drinks from them. We were absolutely flabbergasted at how rude they were especially when we were not obstructing them in any way. Also, very bad food hygiene with food debris strewn on the ground and none of the operators were wearing face masks or spit guards. It’s no wonder that they have no business and that their ratings are so low on Google. Will celebrate the day they close down.

This is located in Maxwell Food Centre which is full of food vendors. I don’t understand the low reviews for this place. The grandma was wonderful, sweet and kind, so are her daughters. We took our time ordering and even kept changing our order but she always smiled at us. Never made us feel uncomfortable. Everyone should check this out, they make it fresh and have every option you can even think of; soursop, mango, pear, dragon fruit etc. They have it all! And I think they’re the only ones who sell fresh coconuts. Other vendors had frozen ones. We ordered 2 fresh coconuts and 2 fresh mango juices and everything was wonderful. Fresh, and just the right amount of sweet. They deserve better reviews!! Definitely worth the trip.

Drink stall owner / lady was plain rude. We were standing near her stall looking at the menu of the stall beside, and were not even blocking or in the way of anyone. She asked my partner to move away to not block the way??
