Interesting experience, you get to fry your own hum chim pang (dough fritters)!! I enjoyed the ones with the red bean fillings more, but both flavors were amazing. Light and fluffy dough fritters. At $1 per portion, this nostalgic stall is definitely one not to be missed if you are in the area 💯

An Absolute Gem! Best Hum Jin Peng Ever ❤️ China Street Hum Jin Peng is hands down one of the BEST I’ve ever had — I absolutely loveeee it! You can even choose to fry it yourself, or let the friendly aunty do it for you. Either way, it’s such a fun and nostalgic experience. The dough is soft, fluffy, and fresh — with two options: a salted version, or the sweet red bean-filled one, which you can also coat with icing sugar for extra yum. And the best part? It’s 5 for just $1! Getting to watch the aunty prep the dough right in front of you makes it all the more special. A must-try street snack that’s worth the queue every time!

At 5 pieces for $1, this is certainly the best and cheapest Hum Jin Pang in Singapore. Kudos to the hardworking auntie who keeps the price down in this era of high inflation. Must really support her. There are 2 options: sweet or salty. I've tried the sweet ones and they are yummy especially when they are fresh and hot. I'll try the salty version next time.

5 humchimpang (traditional flat donuts) for $1 !!! Delicious eaten hot and the old aunty is a saint sent by the food god. The cinnamon salty variant and the red bean version are delicious. Taste heavenly. There is no other rival of this shop in this aisle.

One of the most affordable & yummiest snack here in Singapore. Soft & fluffy, deep fried till golden brown. Since I didn’t see a menu when I was there, here you goooooo - It’s 5 sizeable pieces for $1 & there’s a choice of either salted (five spice) or sweet (red bean filling) Note: You may get to experience frying your own buns, since the lady is busy preparing the dough to fry. Honestly, it’s a lot faster & a fun experience!!
