I chanced upon Heng Heng Hainanese Chicken Rice because the other stalls had really long queues — and to my surprise, it turned out to be really good! The rice was fragrant and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Their chilli sauce was excellent too — the perfect kick to go with the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it overall, though I was just a little bummed they didn’t have any eggs 😅 Definitely a great spot if you’re craving a satisfying plate of chicken rice without the wait!

Very friendly vendor and more importantly delicious chicken rice! Flavourful and fluffy rice paired tender and plump hainanese chicken. The added bonus of not having long queues compared to the other chicken rice stalls in the same hawker centre. Definitely underrated.

Heng Heng Hainanese Chicken Rice is a fantastic spot for anyone craving this iconic Singaporean dish. Located within the bustling Maxwell Food Center, the atmosphere is lively and authentic. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, served with fragrant rice that had absorbed all the delicious flavors. I loved the accompanying chili and ginger sauce, which added just the right kick to each bite. The portions are generous and reasonably priced, making it ideal for lunch on the go. The staff is efficient and friendly, contributing to the warm, welcoming vibe. For a quick and satisfying meal, Heng Heng is definitely worth seeking out!

Got here at 9:30 and there was no line. Decent chicken rice. It was super tender and silky. Tian Tian just around the corner seems busy so I will try that next time.

Always find it funny for a chicken stall that can't decide between Boneless or With Bone. This stall decided that the chicken will be Boneless from look but with small pieces of bones attached to the meat. From the look, I taught it was a boneless chicken dish. But on eating, then you realised small sticks of bones are attached to the drumstick and thigh meat ordered. They might as well remove all or leave the bone as it is. Because the small sticks here and there really spoil the enjoyment.
