Overrated by tourists It's decent, the siobak had some crisp, char siew looked better than it tastes, it's very flat and texture wasn't good, just all around mediocre Duck was not bad in terms of the flavour of the skin, but no crisp. If you want to order just meat, 3 meat mix starts from 20$ Nothing particularly noteworthy in terms of taste, however the queue moves excruciatingly slowly for no apparent reason. If you don't have to eat in the area, then don't bother. Too many tourists in the queue too

Quite some queue even at 4.30pm.. about 8 to 9 pax queue I queue for 25mins.. Ordered their roast duck noodle.. skin only 2pcs.. crispy meat taste generally ok still have some juicy.. not the best. Mostly the queue at this timing more to tourist instead of local..

Excellent char siew! Really good roast and with enough fats to melt a little in your mouth. Service is slow(er), but the seller is taking extra effort to drizzle the meat with sauce and oil. Price is affordable, so if the queue is short, just go for it!

Really delicious food – we had the mixed meat rice (pork and duck) and the duck noodles. For 9.5 Singapore dollars, the portions were big and soooo good – definitely a must-try! And the two gentlemen were so nice – we even got extra sauce when we asked because it was so tasty. Even though the queue was very long it was definitely worth to wait!

It is trite to say that in Singapore where there is a line there must be good food and this place did not disappoint. There was a wait of about 30 minutes but what awaited was stunning roasted meats. The roast duck was succulent and had an excellent taste. The char siew had very good flavour and excellent caramelisation. Worth visiting if you are at Maxwell food centre.
