I've had this both as takeaway and dine-in. Every time I've had it, it was delicious. I always order the signature set - comes with the wanton, char siew, and teochew fishballs (fishballs filled with minced meat). The flavours are always spot on and balanced. But highly recommend that you order a larger bowl. I go for the $6 serving although I'm quite a small eater. It's not easy for hawkers to keep prices low with raw material costs going up. This shop is definitely worth a try if you're in for quality food at a hawker centre!

裕廊东18年传统味鱼圆面 Stall 59 Maxwell Food Centre Opening hrs: 10am to 9.30pm What a way to have a bowl of delicious BCM @$4.50 after work. Colourful, affordable and generous ingredients. Boss isn't stingy with his sauce. Gotta make sure to soak and toss mee kia to get the ultimate flavour from the sauce. Love their sauce, very tasty with a hint of sweetness. Fresh ingredients given especially flavourful mushroom, meatball and lean meat. Best lean meat ever and I think their meatball is handmade. Both were soft and lean meat texture like shabu shabu. Love the cloudy tasty soup too. Just like their signage say, very 'traditional' and one of the best bcm I’ve tasted! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

I love that they actually have vegetarian 🌱 options - 👀mushroom noodle on menu. Mushroom was cooked perfectly! Soft & tasty Able to also have a large range of noodles - I chose spinach noodle! & was good with decent silliness & Al dente 👍🏻 & Chili sauce within main sauce was good too Dry noodle option is minimally $5. $4 is for soup. But uncle did give sufficient chunky vegetables proportionate to noodle, although portion size can be larger haha. I like being able to have wanton noodle sauce but in vege style! Unfortunately (or for convenience) this hawker does most cutlery in disposables.

The noodle they served is Hong Kong style egg noodle which is bouncy and springy. I like this kind. Nothing stands out from their sauce but I think it’s good on its own as well. But it’s rather very small bowl for a $5.00. It’s run by a old couple and I guess inflation also contributed to the price. The char siew and wonton are decent, nothing special. But the fuzhou fish ball is bouncy and meat filing is flavorful. I would go back for their noodle, perhaps can try their dumplings next time.

Price is slightly pricey ($5 each bowl) but the noodles were well cooked and the chilli matched well ! If you like it spicy, maybe can ask for more chilli!
