Hands down the best HK-style steamed fish in Singapore! We’ve been coming here since their early days, and it’s still our favorite spot. The boss is super friendly and such a cool guy always makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!🐟⭐️

.The steamed seabass was perfectly cooked—absolutely not overcooked—and the fish itself was wonderfully fresh. Best of all, it was great value: only $8 for a generous half portion without the head. Definitely recommend this for a quality, affordable seafood meal in town.

[Proven by 3rd visit - as GOOD as always] Amazingly good!! The fish is super fresh, and the portion is very generous. When I ordered $8 grouper, I thought it might just be a portion of it - it turned out to be the whole fish! Btw., the rice is also nicely cooked. Very friendly shop owner as well:) Highly recommended, especially to those who miss Cantonese style steamed fish.

Absolutely loved the chilli crab at Fish Village in Maxwell Food Centre! 🦀 So fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. Ryan, the owner, is incredibly friendly and takes real pride in his food — he even explained how he refined the recipe to make it just right. Being able to choose the crab before it was cooked made for an extra special hawker experience. Highly recommend this stall if you want authentic, delicious chilli crab with amazing service.

Went here for some Chili Crab after No.1 was closed, which had been the top reviewed place. AMAZING! The owner was extremely friendly and had me catch my own crab from the tank, which was entertaining to say the least. The crab was cooked with a lot of care and was really amazing. We ate every bit of it. The owner kept coming by to check on us, which is extremely uncommon at such a food hall. 10/10.
