the char siew ccf is is nice and smooth! love the skin and quite generous filling overall. the char siew seems to be mixed with shallots also so it doesn't only taste sweet. sauce is pretty standard and we appreciate the green onions and shallots as condiments. the prawn beancurd roll is not bad, it's freshly fried, came with good amount of prawn and some starch inside. the food is really enjoyable but the queue and wait time can be quite deterring, only 1 man cooking everything.

Bought HK style chang feng for $3.50. Very value for money. Pro tips add more crunchy fried shallots. Godly Peanut and sweet sauce. This totally elevate the taste of chang feng. Easy win. Shallots give the dish a crunchy dimensions. Subtitle savoriness helps as well. And did I mention, you add how much spring onion and shallots you want. And can take as much chili as you want. Can be improved Chang feng actually on the stickier side rather than silky and actually that's about it.

update as of 5 November 2025: tried handmade beancurd prawn. it was yummy 😋 The first time I came by most CCF was sold out by 2pm. Finally got to try their prawn CCF and I like it - silky, sauce is not too salty, and comes with spring onion, fried onion, chili and sesame seeds that you help yourselves to it.

It’s okay. I think not worth waiting if there’s a long queue, each order takes 3-5 min. I ordered one that’s not really to my liking, too much sauce and is on the sweeter side. Should have tried the char siew/shrimp cheong fun that many people got.

I’d been searching everywhere for Hong Kong style cheung fun with peanut butter sauce, and this place was the only one I could find. I saw they were going to be out of town until November 20, 2025, so my husband and I—visiting from the Midwest in the US—waited until they reopened. Back home, we only ever find cheung fun like this in big cities, and this is truly my favorite food. Even in Singapore, cheung fun is common, but I hadn’t found another spot that serves it with peanut butter sauce. It was absolutely worth the wait. I think the Google hours might be incorrect, but once we finally made it in, the experience was amazing. The owner even offered us something off-menu since we had waited for him to open. I only wish this restaurant were closer to our hotel—I would eat here every single day of my stay in Singapore.
