$3.20 for peanut soup with 5 tang yuan. Got 1 of each favor. Peanut, taro, seasame, red bean and matcha. Well does it's job as a hot dessert. Sweet but not excessively. Would probably just avoid the taro tang yuan. Others are pretty even for me maybe matcha just narrowly edge out the other. What I like most is that the tang yuan doesn't break and all fillings doesn't pollute the peanut soup.

We ordered the 6-piece tang yuan with peanut soup ($3.50) — 2 red bean, 2 sesame, and 2 peanut fillings. We enjoyed the sesame and peanut ones more. The red bean was decent but didn’t quite win us over — red bean quality can vary a lot, and this one was more on the average side. The tang yuan were standard-sized, with a nice chewy texture. The bowl of peanut soup was generous in portion. The peanuts were soft yet still held their shape, and were tasty. The soup was infused with peanut flavour, aromatic, and not overly sweet — very comforting.

Great balls, but horrible service. Ladies were managing a huge order, I get that. Just a tense atmosphere for them. While I waited patiently, lady ask me to say my order quickly, almost berating me. Furthermore after saying the price, both ignored me for 2 minutes, minding their own business even though I had the money out. Eventually the lady picked it from me, a sigh as if I wasn't there for 2 whole minutes. Honestly, if you're unable to manage a large order which combusting - I find it funny that they still do that regardless. Throughout I was pretty patient, not making a fuss and unfortunately just exclaiming at me. Especially the lady that looked more like a ball, the other one was just distracted with spoons... Will still come back though, great food trumps all things. And I also believe its an episodic thing, caused by the novel stress brought about by a huge order.

Nice soft texture. Comes with five types of fillings including peanut, sesame, yam, matcha, red bean. Prices start from 2.80 for four, 3.20 for 5 and 3.50 for 6. I got the 6 balls version with all the flavours. Generally you would be appreciating the skin as the fillings are not a lot. I also had a chat with the friendly owner after I asked him of a similar stall in Bedok. He explained that Bedok has a more dilute soup base as the customers there like it that way. Meanwhile Punggol and beach road are similar Edit: back again 18 Oct 2025. All were still good
