⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ah Xiao Teochew Duck Rice is truly a gem! The braised duck is tender, flavourful, and perfectly infused with the rich herbal sauce. The gravy has that authentic Teochew balance—savory with just the right hint of sweetness. The rice is fragrant and goes so well with the duck and their signature chili dip. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and service is always warm and friendly despite the long queues. Definitely worth the wait! Every bite feels like comfort food done right. Highly recommended for anyone craving a hearty and authentic Teochew duck rice experience.

I'm a fan of braised duck and had wanted to try this for a while. Waited for about 10 minutes to order a 1-person duck rice with extra meat, egg and tau gua. $8 and it was a generous amount of meat. I would have preferred it more thinly sliced but others may prefer chunkier cuts that feel more substantial. The tau gua was also soft and I would recommend ordering it. The sauce itself is watery and more like a soup, though the usual braised notes like cinnamon or star anise do come through. All in all a decent plate but I still prefer the stalls that serve it with a thicker sauce

Duck meat is tender and not dry. Braised sauce is not overly salty. Owner is friendly from taking order to serving to completing of meal. The wait was less than 10mins, when the ingredients are finishing, he will start taking orders and counting to prevent q-ing for nothing.

There were six people in the queue on a Sunday afternoon, but it felt like twelve because the stall was handling call-in orders and regulars who could skip the line. Ordered a plate of duck rice, but it fell below expectations—after a 30‑minute wait, it was just white rice with dilute sauce and ordinary duck meat.

19 July 2025 I like the taste, not too strong of the herbal flavor. Meet is tender and not chewy. The only thing that I don't like is their sauces. Both are too sour for me. The queue is non-stop at lunchtime.
