This morning we ventured into Golden Mile Food Centre again and headed straight to this Thai Boat Noodles Waterfall stall (which we had earmarked during our last trip there). Arrived the stall at 11:30am and we seemed like their first customer (there was a “CLOSED - Will be back soon” sign). So wifey asked the stall lady if they are operating and she affirmed, and then took away the signboard. We ordered their Thai White Noodles Soup which costed $6 each. You can see from our photo that the bowl of White Noodleswere topped with a fair amount of ingredients - pig’s liver, lean pork slices and pork balls, and importantly sprinkled with pork lard🤣. There’s fair amount of kangkong and bean sprouts too! Wonderful. When I dug into the soup, there were few pieces of soft radish. Which meant the soup base was raddish soup with pork bones. Not too rich, a little sourish sweet (Thai Style) - simply delicious. Their chilli powder was “smoky” which tasted good with the white noodles, but wifey said that we shouldn’t consume the roasted chilli powder so often as it wasn’t healthy. The other chilli was a vinegar base which we didn’t quite like. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful meal of Thai White Noodles Soup. And very very reasonably priced too. Both wifey and I are getting to like the Golden Mile Food Centre and we browsed around to jot down what we would be trying the next time🤣🤣🤣

It’s in a hawker centre and tables are hard to get during peak meal times (12-2). The boat noodles come in fairly large servings ( unlike the real deal in Thailand which come in tiny bowls). You can add extra items like more meatballs or veg or egg. The soup is really tasty. The dry chilli is yum ( if you can take the heat ). The chilli sauce ( made with green chilli) is slightly sour but not very spicy. Good value.

The boat noodles with mee kia was quite tasty. Unfortunately the chili was sour instead of spicy. The chili flakes tasted a little burnt. Not sure if this is the normal taste. The deep fried pork lard was crispy and flavorful. No queue as it was after lunchtime

The boat noodles here don't taste like the ones I tried in Thailand. These are way too sweet and the soup could be tastier. Portion is big for the price, which is good. There isn't anything special about the quality of ingredients though. Overall, I'd give this a miss.

My partner is Thai and I know the food is tasty when I see her enjoying her food. Both the boat noodle (soup/dry) was flavourful and portion was super generous. I know the ingredient were fresh as they had good texture and tasted great, even the pig liver was tender and fresh. Bought it as a combo to try the moo ping (pork skewer) and it was juicy and tender. The pork lard added elevated the noodles experience as it was fragrant and added texture to the bite. Will definitely come again!!!
