Fancy for traditional prawn noodles? This is the stall to come to, located at the basement of Army Market Food Centre. Stall is mend by two veterans who uses freshest ingredients to make the dish. Very friendly service provided. Prawns is sliced into half with shell, a little troublesome to peel but it’s fresh. Noodles were cooked to just the right texture and quite a portion for $6. Soup was sweet seafood, while the noodle chilli was lacking in the umami kick and was on the blend side. Overall, a pleasant meal. Come support local hawker when you’re nearby. Open space parking next to the food centre or further away HDB multi storey carpark available as well. Meal time it gets really crowded.

Portion quite worth it for $6, came with plenty of prawns as well. Had the dry version, so chilli might not be spicy enough for others that love the spicy kind of chilli. I loved the old school taste! Soup was great :) Uncle was friendly!

Flavourful noodles and rich prawn soup, tender pork ribs and fresh prawns. You can tell the sweetness of the soup is from hours of boiling to extract the essence of prawns, not just adding rock sugar like many other prawn noodle shops. Uncle has been serving this bowl of prawn noodles for decades, and is always so happy to share about his life experiences if you make the time to start up a conversation with him. Uncle lamented that he doesn't really know how to promote his noodles to the public, or get bloggers to come down for marketing, so business can be slow. If you like prawn noodles and want to support our heritage hawkers, give this prawn noodles a try. We usually get the pork ribs and prawn combo.

Sumptuous, Satisfying and Welcoming -Noodle was bouncy and well cooked -Soup was well-balanced with natural sweetness from the prawns and packed with the traditional umami flavor -Prawns were decent size and easy to peel -Pork ribs were not the melt-in yr mouth type (not too fatty) but the one with just the nice tenderness to chew on The uncle and aunty at the shop were very friendly and accommodating. The shop has been around for over 70 years and they’ve kept their original recipe.
