Jin Hai Tan

Been eating this store as a regular for years and the quality is always there. The claypot fried chicken with toufu is great. The spicy beef noodles as well. Their dumpling are value for money too!

I thought this was a rather interesting stall at Golden Mile Food Centre so I decided to try it. The soup was rather tasty and interesting, especially with the addition of the lemon, as it brought a "bright" flavour to it. It was the first time I tasted a soup like this. The other ingredients were quite typical. I would go back to try some of their other offerings. I recommend giving their a good a try if you are in the area.

This place is severely underrated! They sell the most unique soup I’ve ever found in SG- which is their lemon soup, and i tell you, it warms you up well, especially on a rainy day! I’ve also tried the claypot tofu, gongbao chicken and they slaps, but highlighting the lemon soup for its uniqueness. Please give this store a try when you’re nearby. You will not regret it.

Had the golden lemon sliced beef soup and claypot beancurd with fried chicken. Generous portions for the price. The soup albeit a rather peculiar pairing of the lemon, worked and tasted refreshing and paired well with the bowl of rice.

Chanced upon this stall while we were at Army Market, saw the queue wasn't long, so we decided to give it a try. Claypot Sesame Oil Chicken, their sesame oil fragrance was evident, giving the chicken cubes a unique aroma. Chicken cubes were tender and soft. Claypot Gong Bao Chicken, was flavorful, but lack of the spiciness, which we expect to have. Chicken meat was tender too. Still quite a decent dish though. Fried Dumplings was ok. Evenly fried and have decent meat fillings within each dumplings. Overall the service was good, our orders were taken quite fast and the food came quite promptly too.
