Jia Xiang Chao Guo Teow

It’s been 1 year since I last came here. As usual Boss’s CkT is really the best! But this time round I also tried his 蚝煎. Not bad not bad. If only it can be “crispier” it will be superb. Old review: This review is for CKT only- It’s been a long time since I had a CKT that deserves 5 stars from me. For the $5 The portion I received was really generous. I think there’s at least 9-10 hum. And the hums are those slightly bigger ones, not the endangered small small hum. Lup cheong also a lot. But what’s the point if the portion is huge and generous but don’t taste good? Well this friendly and courteous uncle is Wok Hei gao gao and taste wonderful. This is what I call a true hidden gem.

Tried their fried prawn Hokkian Mee. Portion size is good and it's delicious. You can select different portion sizes for S$4/5/6. They have other types of local dishes as well. Very friendly uncle. Highly recommend if you are craving for Hokkian Mee.

Friendly uncle. Takeaway order. Fairly fast during dinner hours. Bought the $4.50 set. 4/5 because there were eggshells in the carrot cake.

My personal favourite is the oyster omelette, very generous portions of oysters.

Not bad hokkien mee. Smelled the aroma when walking past the stall so couldnt resist tontry.
