Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice

Very delicious and affordable. Authentic Hainanese chicken rice. Be prepared for long queues and wait during most times. They are sold out quickly daily. A must try if you love chicken rice and a Singapore national icon

Came by for late lunch. It has been a long while back since i ate at this stall. Can't remember if they once served with beans sprout. Ordered steam chicken rice $4.50 which is the smallest option. Happy with the rice, flavourful and it does not clump, a little on the oily side but acceptable. Chicken is well cooked, tender. Sauce over the chicken is a little on the sweeter side, but not salty. One of the better chilli for chicken rice, and i do like their soup.

Numerous Chicken Rice here at GMFC, and I'm trying this first. $4.50 for a ji wei rou chicken rice ($3.50 before upgrade). I think honestly its a good plate of chicken rice. Their meat was succulent, skin was silky. I liked their oil drizzled on the meat, though I preferred to be a little less sweet. As for the rice, it was a borderline "Chicken" rice. I wouldn't say it was that fragrant or that tasty, but the fluffiness makes it stand well enough. Overall, with the value proposition this makes for a decent chicken rice. However, I don't think that they stand out as one of Singapore's best - nothing really overally distinct that makes this chicken rice different from the rest. Not that it needs to, anyways. 4 stars. Chilli is a basic chicken rice chilli, same for their garlic sauce.

Oh my goodness. This is one of the best steamed chicken I have ever eaten in Singapore. Usually I'll get the thigh part because the breast part is usually quite hard or dry.... But this! All the parts are good & tender. Maybe most of their clientale are old folks so they don't have much reviews. It's really good, feels very old school & homemade. And the hawkers are friendly.. Overall, I'll give 10 stars if I could

The chicken was flavoursome, albeit it could use just slightly less salt. The rice was flavoured too, more on the subtle side. Soup was tasty in the side of mild and together these elements were delicious. We ordered the $3+ meal (the small one) and added an egg so per person the total was $4.40. The lady at the stall was friendly and helpful. Thank you for the delicious food guys ✨🙏
