This is an old-school Yong Tau Foo stall offering very simple fish paste ingredients. While it's not authentic Hakka style (neither it claim to be), the feeling of nostalgia brings me back repeatedly. My bowl here, with eight pieces and beehoon, costs just $5.40. Despite the simplicity of the ingredients, each piece is fresh, and the clear broth is very flavourful. I usually have soup YTF elsewhere, but I prefer the dry version here as their sauce mix just hits differently. Oh, They offer a free soup refill, so I recommend getting the dry one and asking for a soup refill for better value.
