Pin Xiang Hainanese Chicken Rice

When a plate of vegetables (xiao baicai) from this chicken rice stall.... have barely any leaves (they were snipped off apparently), 90% are stems... you know, for sure, that... they are unethical. You begin to wonder, what other unethical things were done when they prepare the chicken, the rice, the chilli etc... Hence, please, think twice before you order from this stall. Buy their unremarkable chicken rice and add-ons at your own risk.

Terrible customer service, unprofessional and rude. Literally gave me a stare the whole time when I ordered till I left, even threw a packet of chilli inside the plastic bag when I asked for chilli. Photo took from other reviewer because I didn’t managed to take a photo of this rude female staff.

I like the rice, very fragrant and flavourful. But the chicken was just ok for me. It was a little too dry, maybe because they gave me the chicken wing, but I think it was just normal roast chicken. The Char Siew was actually not bad, but it wasn’t outstanding enough to make me queue for it. I wonder why long queue here everyday, it was a little bit overrated for me.😐

It used to be great, it is what it is today. It happens to me it will happen to you too, six dollars for this kind of standard plus a rude cashier. What I could say is good job keep it up

This is my first and also my last time eating at this chicken rice. The rice and chili sauce are very delicious, but the chicken feet soup feels extremely unhygienic , the chicken feet were not cleaned at all and were clearly thrown into the pot without any preparation. The roasted chicken meat was also especially tough and dry. If you're someone who minds these things, think twice before coming.
