Mei Xiang Prawn Noodle . Lor Mee

Had their luo mee previously and I thought it was decent, hence decided to get their prawn noodles. Could taste the prawn flavour of the soup, however there was this sweet aftertaste that lingered. I realised the sambal was also sweet. The line moved pretty fast & the plus point was that the owners were friendly.

Both of their food are good, in fact very good, I would even say excellent for hawker food. The problem is the queue ... When the uncle decides to work, the queue will move fast ... Else it will be slower so be prepared. The portion is also bigger than usual. Uncle is as they said, quite a character with his take it easy style. Highly recommended.

Packed the lor mee home to enjoy and still good as no charge if packed in plastic bags. The mee and lor are also packed separately. The lor is also not too starchy. Elderly likes this stall’s lor mee as there’re fish pieces that’s not deep fried, and fresh too. There are many small pieces of five spice seasoned streaky pork. Really good standard of lor mee. This stall has long queue during peak. Worth trying!

Love it! Traditional flavours with good serving portion at reasonable price point. Noodles are cooked just right and retained its firmness throughout the meal. Very jovial uncle taking orders with his beloved wife behind the stove. Uncle ain't shy to show his love for her. 😄 I adore how they work in unison with mutual understanding. Happy chef, happy vibes in food, happy customers eating happy food. So good, I braved the queue again for takeaways. Will definitely revisit if I'm at this hawker centre again.

One of the best Lor Mee in Bedok. The gravy is thick and it is piping hot. It is flavorful. The fried fish is delicious but the quantity is not enough to fill the craving. You can add on consonant be a problem.
