Claypot was served piping hot after 15 mins wait - which is reasonable. Personally felt that rice bit too soft but very flavourful especially when hot. Chicken were very well marinated. Seem bit expensive for smallest portion costing $15. Rice is sufficient but chicken were way too little for thorough tasting! Also hardly find 3-4 small stocks of vegetables. One of the more expensive claypot rice in town.

24/August/2025 Had Claypot Chicken Rice ($15) for dinner, was good. Portion served two person. I called in advance, so I didn't have to wait too long. Didn't order their soup cause I wanted to try other food from another stall, I'll be back.

The Claypot rice was tasty and had that nice char (burnt) aroma without the bitter burnt taste. There was salted fish in the dish and when mixed into the rice added flavor to the rice without that fish smell. The serving portion was decent. I would have prefer more chicken pieces and less bones. The smallest portion they served was for 2 persons.

Bring my family for a hot claypot rice on the rainy Sunday. Brought my kids to try when they are little. We still love and enjoy it a lot.

Well executed claypot rice, maybe just a bit too much black sauce but portions were generous, chicken, sausages all super tasty. Had 2 soups also - of course not top tier but suitably tasty and gave a warm fuzzy feeling on a cold rainy day. Nice staff running the outfit too, should support this older generation of hawkers generously.
