I tried both their pork ribs prawn noodles ($5) and char kway teow ($5). The pork ribs were really tender and tasty so that made the prawn noodles pretty worth it (though the soup was slightly spicy for me and I asked for no chilli) but I was disappointed with the ckt as it lacked flavour, considering that it was the dish that most people recommended.

Delicious Penang eats. The Char Kway Teow is excellent - great wok hei and generous prawn and Chinese sausage portions. The Pork Rib noodle soup is also tasty with a unique flavor. A good meal on the whole.

Went at 715pm on Sunday, short queue for food. Pork ribs and other items were already sold out, managed to get the last plate of char kuey teow. Nice wok hey on the noodles, fresh prawns, asked for no Chinese sausage. Do go early to avoid disappointment

We came around 12:40pm on a weekday and there is a consistent queue of around 4-5 people in the line. We’re thankful that the food is served rather promptly, so it’s not too long a wait. We loved the Assam Laksa and the Prawn Noodles! The broth is absolutely delicious and the food ingredients taste fresh. The prawns are fat and tangy and most importantly, they are peeled! We ordered the $4 ones and it was substantial for us. They are dishes that you can keep coming back for!

Authentic Penang comfort street food. The fried Penang kway tiao is popular among customers, which may take a while to cook depending on the number of orders. With each motion, uncle works the flames to impart a smoky aroma that binds the soft flat rice noodles, Chinese sausage slices, beansprouts, beaten egg, fresh prawns, chili paste, and crispy pork lard together. The prawn noodles with pork ribs are not bad. The assam laksa is packed with flavour in a rich sardine-based broth, with hints of floral and minty notes from the garnishes. The sweet prawn paste and chili padi add even more punch to the tangy gravy and chewy rice noodles. More ingredients such as prawns and pork ribs can be added at an extra cost to complete your meal.
