Power chendol uses thick gula melaka. Need to make sure it is well mixed. Loved how the the jelly are placed, almost like we were mining for green gem

As the name suggests, it is really POWER CHENDOL! The gula melaka is really good and not diluted.

I think they call it the “power cendol” cause you have to power your way through the mound of ice and gooey gula melaka. Some might think it’s too sweet, but why eat desserts if not to satisfy a sweet tooth? Their gula melaka is powerfully sweet and has a hint of a burnt flavor, kind of like burnt caramel. After digging my way through the ice sweet coconut mound, I discovered all the red beans and pandan jelly underneath. My only question is how natural the pandan jelly is, cause its bright green color makes me think otherwise. Other than that, this cendol definitely packs a powerful sweet punch that I’d recommend anyone with a sweet tooth.

Long queue for Dessert so I joined in too. Was not disappointed and was rewarded with a solid, strong Gula Malaka Power Chendol. Indeed very good and worth the effort to wait!

It has been many years that I have not been back for this very popular dessert stall in ABC market. As usual, there was a queue even before the peak lunch hour as there were many orders for take away. The stall holder was however kept bickering with an elderly female customer who was impatient for not being able to serve despite queuing for a while. The power chendol was still as good, chewy gula melaka coated over the shaved ice, there were generous amount of other ingredients that added up for a wholesome bowl of delicious power chendol.
