Our lost and found luck is on a roll. Again we found another hawker restarting in a new environment. Previously from Sin Ming industrial estate, now they reopened at Ghim Moh HC serving affordable Indonesian style of fried banana, nasi ayam lengkuas, Indonesian style nasi lemak & curry/sardine puff. I would say lady boss is a talented cook. She handles all include frying & preparing. We had nasi ayam lengkuas for $5.50. Sizeable drumstick with flesh so tender, it was so easily teared from the bone. Topped with yummy and addictive ginger bits, rice with light nasi lemak taste and tangy salad. Boss recommended to pair both chilli and dark sauce for the best flavour. Go for their affordable snacks!! We eyed a batch of ‘spring rolls’ but to our surprise, they were actually fried bananas at $1 each. Creatively wrapped with popiah skin and drizzled in maltose. Crispy, sweet and so addictive, dabao more pcs to go. Curry/sardine puff at $1.20 each. One of the best we had. The potato curry is so soft and creamy and comes with a good slice of egg too. We will be back!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Ghim Moh Market highlight. Had the Indonesian Nasi Lemak with chicken wing and the batter and sambal stood out. Add a splash of the spicy sweet dark sauce and all so sedap!

So good!!! So happy we have new stalls selling such gems! The chicken is juicy and hot, seasoning is great. Rice so fragrant, everything is made with heart!

Just bump into it, they recently moved at Ghim Moh. Ordered the Ayam Lengkuas. The chicken and rice is good! The taste indeed authentic Indonesian. Definitely will be back. If something can be better, it is the chilly, it can be more spicy. But maybe it is me 😋 And yeah, thought I can buy the bakso goreng, but they change the menu. Hope they can bring back bakso goreng again haha.

Order both the wings ($5 for 3pcs) and the ginger chicken thigh rice ($5.50). Unfortunately, I find both are on the bland side, despite the wings are fried with lots of garlic, and the ginger bits on the thigh are tasteless too. The sauce helps a lot, and the both meat are v well cooked and tender. U definitely need lots of sauce if U gonna try. People tending the stall are very nice and friendly.
