This used to be my go-to stall whenever I wanted to eat Yong Tau Fu. However, a bad experience today has left me questioning their honesty. I carefully selected my ingredients, including two hard-boiled eggs that were in good condition. However, after handing my bowl to the lady staff in the photo, I noticed that she was acting suspiciously and reached into a separate container of visibly "bad" eggs. When I received my cooked bowl, the eggs had exposed yolks, similar to the ones in that container and clearly not the ones that I had picked. I did not want to confront her as it would likely have turned into an argument of denial, especially since this is a deliberate attempt. That incident left a bad taste. I trusted them to serve what I had chosen and this felt like a breach of that trust. It is not about the $1.60 that I paid for the eggs. It is about honesty. I will not be returning to this stall for sure. Just want to raise awareness so that others will not end up in the same situation. Please watch closely after handing over your bowl to ensure that you receive exactly what you selected.

Seemed that a chain has sprouted within this brand, offering YTF and fish soup. A good selection of YTF offering fish and pork options. Some of the items are innovative and the portion and its filling is generous. Soup is anchovy based. Good bodied to it and tasty. Quite a crowd favorite amongst the elders in this vicinity. A persistent queue but moves quickly.

One of the staples of a hawker centre, the stuffed tofu (aka niang dou fu / yong tau hu) stall. All the usual suspects — assorted stuffed tofu, fresh and fried, and vegetables, eggplant, bitter mellon, okra — were present plus some tofu topped with raw fish paste. The stuffed tofu can be blanched and served dry, in soup, or in curry. The assorted sauces, sweet and spicy, and condiments, spring onions and fried shallots, were on a self service side tray. Service was brisk and no nonsense.
