Ghim Moh Porridge and Rice

The long queue in front of the stall is a stamp of great quality of the food they served. 👍 The queue moved quickly, so no worry. Ordered a steamed fish (very sweet, juicy and full of umami), fried egg, cabbage and braised tau pok. Value for money. You get what you paid for.

Insane taste and value. This could become my most favourite Teo chew porridge in Singapore. $6.50 for 5 dishes plus porridge. All veggies, egg and meat ball is $1 each. Braised meat is $2. 😳 there is a queue but it moves fast.

Had always wanted to try this stall but was usually put off by the long queue. At 7:15am today, the line was surprisingly short, so I gave it a go. I ordered a porridge with meatball, egg, and vegetables—was expecting to pay at least $5 based on past porridge stalls, so I was pleasantly surprised when the total came to just $3. The taste lived up to expectations—classic Teochew-style comfort food. The stall owners were also warm and friendly. Now I understand why the queue’s usually so long.

Great stall, probably will be my new fave. Lunch hour 1230pm, 15mins queue time to get my food. Auntie was very nice and patient, even said I could return to top up my porridge if insufficient (cos I got a watery bowl). $3.50 in total with veg / egg / taupok / meatball, amazing value.

No frill simple porridge place that only opens for lunch mom - sat. The food is very well priced and they are generous to the older and needy residents in ghim moh. The couple/ family runs this stall with a heart in addition to providing delicious homely food . They are famous for their steam fish, pork dishes like braised pork belly, minced pork and their popular pork balls.
