888 Chicken Rice

I ordered roasted chicken thigh rice. At affordable price of $4, the portion big enough, almost boneless meat, not salty, rice is fragrant even after 4hours. Overall quality 9/10.

Visited in a chill sunday, had lunch here. Good atmosphere, with great soft live music singing Taiwan mandarin pop. Really enjoyed. Also there are dozens of nice grocery stores, with good price.

Been eating here for years feels like a true family run gem tucked in Ghim Moh. The rice is super fragrant, not the overly oily kind. Chicken portion is generous for just $4, and you can even top up with extra chicken for just $1–$2.

Took away a a big pack of steam chicken breast with rice. Chicken is very tender and well seasoned (not at all soaked in seasoning/oil) and rice is flavourful as well. Friendly and courteous service. Will surely come back again!

Moved to 01-59 Friendly stall owners. Chicken rice is a balance of delicious and healthy tasting.
