Surprised by the quality of the HKM.. the noodles are infused with the rich and flavourful broth and, at $5.50, it comes with Lala, 2 big prawns and plentiful of thin slices of pork belly. Thumbs up. Remember to put some balacan chilli. It add the extra touch. The Char Kuey Tiao is also very nice. I will be back for more! Thanks for the great meal. Look at my empty plate.. its the best testimonial.

Idk if the previous reviews were bought or what but this is the first and the last time I’ll patronise the stall. Firstly, the Hokkien mee was pre-fried so we received the order within 2mins. Secondly, the HK mee doesn’t consist of any pork lard, and most importantly it is missing the beehoon. There’s only yellow mee. As a fan of HK mee, this is truly disappointing and unacceptable. Please do not visit this stall. It is probably one of the worst HK mee in sg.

Must order: hokkien mie My favorite hokkien mie, the one that set the standard for me. It’s on the soupier end but the broth is so pleasantly sweet from the seafood and pork. It also has more rice noodles than yellow noodles, which is how I like it too. For that reason it probably doesn’t travel well for dabao. It also has a couple of clams for good measure. For $5 it’s very generous for one person. It’s on my list as one of the places I must visit when I’m home. I’ve been patronizing since secondary school so the auntie recognizes me.

⁣ 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 $𝟒 / 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 $𝟓 / 𝐁𝐢𝐠 $𝟖 ⁣ Serving are quite 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 for $5 Fried Hokkien Mee. There are four prawns, a couple of clams, squid, and slices of pork belly in this fried Hokkien Mee. It’s a mixture of yellow and white beehoon. This is one of the best Hokkien mee I've ever had. Noodles are wet enough that soaked with gravy and served hot!

Though the stall brand is fried hokkien prawn mee, I think their fried kway teow taste better than the prawn mee. It was the wet and moist hokkien mee style. Typically, you would expect the rich prawn flavor from the broth but it was absent. There's also lacking of the wokhey taste.
