About

Prawn noodle soup and dry combinations are served with springy noodles, pork ribs, partially deshelled prawns and greens, with a broth that balances savoury umami and sweetness from simmered shells and bones. The dry version tossed with chilli adds an extra layer of spice, and the stall’s heritage has helped it maintain popularity with long queues at peak hours.

My favourite BCM around the corner was closed so I wandered around the Hawker Centre and noticed this stall. If it's still going after 40 years it should be decent, and it was. Comparatively with other prawn noodles out there it's above average but the cleanliness of the Hawker Centre does it no favours. For the standard $5.50 bowl of Pork Rib and prawn I wound say fair value. Is it a destination, will travel to come, kind of stall? Not really. But if you are in the neighbourhood yeah it's a good bowl of noodles. And yeah Aunty says that her in the old pictures.

Oct 24, there was short Q, which run very fast. Order the pork & pig tail soup with Mee Hoon. Presentation was nice, soup was good and the meat was soft & melt in your mouth. It was good for breakfast. I would not vouch it is the best as I have eaten the best somewhere in the east. But would I come back to eat again - definitely.

I took the opportunity while I was in the area to come to savour this. Compared to the more well known ones, I am indeed quite blown away by this prawn noodle. The soup is so naturally rich and flavourful. The prawn is sweet and crunchy and deveined which makes eating so pleasant. The pork rib is so tender that the meat just falls off the bone without much effort. Definitely worth going for it if you are here.

Came here half an hr before lunch time and was surprised that there was no queue. Ordered 5 bucks worth of prawn only beehoon. There were 4 huge prawns and ample amount of beehoon to fill my tummy! The soup was quite thick with a strong taste of prawns. Really liked the soup but it was not piping hot. Was only warm... better if they can do piping hot soup.

One of the best prawn noodle in Singapore! The pork rib is tender and flavorful and the prawn is fresh. The highlight is the soup, which is robust yet not salty. The quality of this prawn noodle is consistently good
