About

Halal satay skewers are grilled over charcoal and served with a rich peanut sauce, cucumber and ketupat. If you're craving smoky, succulent satay and prawns that hit all the right notes. This place is a must visit. The satay was grilled to perfection: tender, juicy, and infused with that irresistible charred aroma. Each skewer came with a rich, nutty peanut sauce that was so good I could’ve eaten it with a spoon. And the prawns? Absolute showstoppers. Fresh, plump, and grilled just right - slightly crisp on the outside, sweet and juicy inside. They had that natural ocean sweetness, enhanced by a light marinade that didn’t overpower. Paired with a squeeze of lime and a cold drink, it was heaven on a plate.

Still trying to find what claimed to be 'Power' in the satay. No offense to the owner though because they serve us greatly. Just a short discrepancy in serving the same hype for their satay >

We had mutton and chicken satay for snacking. The ketuput came with a pre cut out wrapper 😅 We didn't mind as they seemed to be preparing a big order, but some diners might be put off by plastic when it comes toma serving plate. The satay sticks come with a small portion of onion and cucumber to cleanse your palate. No issue with the charring of satay and the peanut sauce. Mutton was nicer than the chicken for us, but that may depend on how they are prepared.

A couple of months ago, i bought their satay set that included their barbeque chicken. A couple pieces of the chicken were rancid. It smelt absolutely rotten. But i thought to myself that it happens sometimes. So i let it slide. Yesterday, i returned to buy just their satay. I was well and truly disappointed yet again. The satay weren't cooked well at all...no char and the internals could use a few more minutes on the grill. The ketupat were already showing signs of going bad...they were beginning to feel slimy even though the smell was still okay. And the gravy was bland. My wife had to season it herself and at the same time, put the satay into the air fryer to cook it further. To make things worse, we found clumps of flour in the gravy...they used flour to thicken the gravy, obviously a lazy attempt at cooking. Anyway, my family agreed that the satay tasted like it wasn't marinated enough. Now for the service. They weren't particularly rude but they struck me as disinterested and a bit arrogant. It wouldn't matter to me much if the food was great but it wasn't. Not by miles. I felt short-changed and even though I know i won't make a difference, i don't think I'll buy from them any time soon.
