Rojak Bandung has excellent seasoning and balanced taste between sweet and spicy. There's a good mixture of squid and vegetables on top of rice noodles.

Indian rojak is layered with ingredients like bee hoon, cuttlefish, kang kong and tau pok, topped with crushed peanuts and typically served with calamansi. The bee hoon soaks up the rich sauce, while the mix of fresh and fried components gives contrasting textures, making it a local favourite among rojak enthusiasts.

This stall sells an unusual combination of items: fruit/veggie rojak (Malay style instead of carb-heavy Indian version) and porridge. The $6 rojak was filling enough for dinner, fresh, and healthy (lots of dietary fibers), with spicy and sour dark sauce and a dose of crushed groundnut. You can choose between cuttlefish and chicken meat for the protein content. FYI the "Bandung" name seems to have nothing to do with the city of Bandung in Indonesia.

The Rojak Bandung was an interesting combination of our local Chinese rojak, satay beehoon and mee siam - really rojak of rojak. It contained bee hoon, taupok, cuttlefish, kang kong, pineapple, bang kwang, tau geh, grated peanuts in a thin spicy and sour broth. The taste was surprisingly not bad. This stall also sells other ‘Chinese food’ such as porridge. Cash only.

Surprisingly the rojak bandung is similar with Malacca Chinese style (halal), the kangkung is a must in this type of rojak. Will be great if the source slightly less sweet and more spicy. 6⭐
