One of the best classic laksa is here at Ayer Rajah. Manned by a cheerful elderly couple. Old school taste. The laksa gravy isso thick and flavourful. For $4.50, ingredients is quite generous and served with alot of bee hoon. So delicious 😋. 👍 👍 👍 We will be back!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Ordered their Bak chor mee in big portion ($5) and it was really good! Noodles was well-cooked and it was very saucy! I requested not to have liver and I got a big bowl of pork slices and minced meat. I also like the meatballs, it was smooth and tender! Soup was robust with full of flavours!! Will be back to try their laksa!! Looks yummy too!

Operated by an elderly couple and quite a few laksa orders within the surrounding tables. Laksa broth was thick and rich. It came with a generous amount of fish cake and a few smallish cockles which were flavorful. Tofu puff was fresh though not immensely cooked. 2 half shelled prawns which were quite pedestrian in taste department. Laksa leaves and sambal are available for your scooping. Sambal was salty which I believed it was not well stirred but the shrimp taste was evident and packed a punch lending it a good depth. Definitely worth a revisit.

Saw this new stall and decided to give it a try when patrons around me were tossing their delicious bowl of noodles from this shop. 😃 I ordered a large bak chor mee with add-on ingredients for $5.50. I would say this is a rather decent bowl of mee pok with a huge variety of ingredients such as hand-made pork balls, pork slices, button canned mushrooms, minced meat and liver. The sauce coats the starchy mee pok really evenly, and the sambal and mild taste of vinegar really hits the spot. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟 ---- Small feedback to management: Perhaps should see how the operations can be more hygienic. There is cross contamination going on when the auntie was handling cash with her bare hands, cutting the raw liver on the side with no gloves & also taking the cooked bowl of noodles onto my tray with her thumb touching the noodles in my bowl... All of these steps are done with no washing of hands in between either. As a customer, it's quite concerning 😟

Visited on 28 Mar 2023 for curry chicken kway teow. The food is good, though the curry is not as lemak or thick. Maybe bcos the curry is just OK or it's to serve laksa customers. But the chicken is good and fresh, and overall the food is acceptable. Maybe I should try their bak chor mee someday as it seems like that's their specialty
